Codella and Pattee will present two 45 minute training workshops. The first one will discuss:

  • The right questions to ask before starting a social media campaign
  • The importance of strategic planning and listening before implementing a social media campaign
  • About social media tools and sites you should use and how to best use them to engage your audience
  • How to track and measure success — ROI
  • Best and worst social media practices — a review of recent examples from various industries

The second workshop will provide practical application of the strategies, tools and techniques outlined during the first session.

Those in attendance will work together to build a campaign for the Social Media Club of Salt Lake City’s first annual Utah Social Media Awards slated for Nov. 5, 2009. We’ll incorporate several social media channels and produce a variety of text and video to help promote the upcoming first-of-its-kind awards program.
