Description: A discussion of how social media has changed the role of public relations practitioners, what’s now expected and what every PR practitioner should know.

We’ll talk about the new rules of marketing and public relations, an effective inbound marketing strategy, as well as touch on the various pieces of the current social media puzzle — which seem to change almost weekly.

Call it search engine optimization, search engine marketing or inbound marketing, securing top search placement is now paramount to any successful communication campaign. You’ll learn how to utilize online tools — many of them free social media tools — to help secure effective search placement.
